One of the first times I've gotten choked up in a zombie flick.

LOVE to hear about The Forest influence, and so interested to see how the comedic elements work in this! i promised a friend i'd watch this with them in july, and now i'm dying to have to wait that long 🫠

I absolutely loved how the first half felt like a comic book that leaps off the page and onto the screen. The framing of each shot and the lighting were so good, plus the clippy dialogue in the father/son hunting scenes really added to the effect. Very thrilling stuff.

The end is so funny!

The ending wasn’t so bad… after all, the son survived without his father and with a newborn. he and us (the audience) deserved something light hearted towards the end. People are addicted to being sad so maybe that’s why they wanted the ending to be melodramatic. I honestly thought it would be scarier than it was and I’m a punk watching scary movies lol I didn’t jump as much as I thought I would

The ending was sick. The fact that the Jimmy's are all fixated on the remaining memories of their childhood adoring teletubbies and probably things like power rangers, thinking themselves as heroes.

Hell yeah it was sick! I was so here for it and I think Jack O’Connell ate up the 90 secs he was on screen as Jimmy
